SIR’s Job Placement Services
SIR connects companies with a new pool of highly motivated and skilled job candidates. Once we have understood your hiring requirements for the various job opening(s), SIR selects individuals that best match the candidate profile.
As of May 2017, SIR has interviewed and assessed over 500 candidates.
A Short Overview of Our Process
Send SIR your company’s job description / ideal job candidate profile. SIR supports companies with hiring candidates for:
• Internships (paid and unpaid)
• Job training programs
• Part-time positions
• Full-time positions
Once we have met together to confirm your hiring requirements, this information is placed in our system and the selection process begins.
We select candidates we have met personally and who have been pre-screened for inclusion into our database. CVs are forwarded to your company for their review and if the feedback is positive, we can support you in scheduling the interview or your firm can do this directly with the job candidate. SIR will send additional CVs if the first batch is not successful in filling the job position.
After the candidate has been hired by your company, SIR keeps in touch with both your company and the newly placed employee to ensure a successful win-win relationship.
Obtaining a Work Permit in Germany
In general, once an asylum seeker is registered in Germany, he/she will receive permission to work in Germany within three to four months.
Full-time, Part-time and Mini-job Positions
Approval from the “Ausländerbehörde” – the Foreigner’s Authority Department is required for full-time, part-time and mini-job positions. The job candidate is responsible for submitting a work permit to the Ausländerbehörde. SIR provides workshops on how to complete the work permit form to our job candidates.
Once the work permit has been approved, the Ausländerbehörde forwards it to the “Agentur für Arbeit “ ( Employment Office). The Agentur für Arbeit is responsible for determining a fair wage (Tarifprüfung) and once this step is completed, an official written approval letter is sent to the job candidate.
As a last step, an employment contract is signed by both the hiring company and the newly hired employee.
